Medical Advisory โ€” Health & Safety Reminder

With race day now just around the corner, this is a friendly reminder to prioritize your health and safety as you prepare for OOTYULTRA.

OOTYULTRA is a demanding mountain road run with long climbs, descents, changing weather, and extended time on your feet. Please arrive at the start line in good health and prepared for your chosen distance.

If you have any personal or family history of cardiac conditions, high blood pressure, diabetes, or any other medical concern, please consult your doctor and obtain medical clearance before race day.

  • Ensure you are properly trained and physically prepared for your registered category.
  • Do not start if you are unwell, injured, or recovering from illness.
  • Maintain hydration, nutrition, and adequate rest in the final days before the race.
  • Plan your pacing and respect official cut-off timings.
  • Listen to your body during the run and stop immediately if you experience symptoms of distress.

Endurance running carries inherent risks. Each runner is responsible for ensuring medical fitness and making responsible participation decisions.
