Ashwini is from Bangalore and quit her corporate job to what she calls as pursuing her life. Ashwini started by helping a breast cancer survivor with mobility and general fitness through yoga sessions, and now actively into teaching yoga and coaching runners on health and fitness.
Ashwini has very simplistic views about running and following dreams in life, and I’m happy to share her thoughts
“Ever since I started running for fun five years ago, I always followed the principle of not stressing about timing, competition, or social media pressure. I feel these aspects take away the joy this beautiful sport has brought into my life. I run because it makes me feel great, and I love it! A strong finish, injury-free body, and a supportive mind are the bonus outcomes of consistent efforts and patience.
I firmly believe that each of us has immense potential, and the journey of unearthing the same through running is rewarding, something which needs to be experienced.
I’m looking forward to running in Kannan (#coachkay) sir’s event, for the passion he brings to the table as an ultramarathoner himself. Thank you for considering me eligible to give this challenging run a shot. I am excited and can’t wait to experience Ooty on foot. Best wishes to everyone who has already signed up. I’m sure it will be a memorable run for all Cheers!”
Please join me in wishing Ashwini a fabulous OOTYULTRA 90k finish.OOTYULTRA is just 50 days away and the registrations will close on 28-Feb-2020 or before we hit the capacity. The 15k & 30k are fast filling
