OOTYULTRA is committed to giving back to the community by promoting endurance sports and the associated sports-related tourism to The Nilgiris district.
Since 2018, OOTYULTRA has received over 1000 runners from across 20 different Indian states and, from a few foreign countries.
The 3rd edition in 2020, scheduled on the 5-Apr-2020, Sunday, was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Charity tickets
OOTYULTRA 2019: As a humble beginning, in its 2nd edition in 2019, charity tickets were introduced to support the Swachch Bharat Abhiyan initiatives in OOTY. Sixty-eight runners contributed an amount of Rs. 34,000/- (2019 contributors list)
OOTYULTRA 2020: In its 3rd edition of OOTYULTRA, eighty-four runners contributed an amount of Rs. 42000/- to support the Save Nilgiris initiatives (2020 contributors list)
Contributions from KaysFIT Academy
KaysFIT Academy, the founding organization of OOTYULTRA will make a contribution of Rs. 24,000/- towards the Nilgiris District initiatives.
Combining all the contributions Rs. 1,00,000/- (one lakh only) was sent to the District Collector, The Nilgiris, on the 5-Aug-2020.
