Ootyultra’s commitments towards The Nilgiris

A cheque for Rs 1,00,000 (~ 1360 USD) was handed over to the Collector of Nilgiris, Ms. Innocent Divya, IAS on 17-Aug-2021
  • OOTYULTRA is committed to giving back to the community by supporting the Nilgiris District initiatives related to promoting sports, sports-related tourism and sustainability
  • Since 2018, OOTYULTRA has the support of over 2000 runners from across 25 different Indian states and, from a few foreign countries.
  • The 3rd edition in 2020, scheduled on the 5-Apr-2020, Sunday, was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The 4th edition was conducted virtually.
  • The 5th edition of Ootyultra is scheduled on the 3-Apr-2022, Sunday and over 550 runners are expected to participate.

*On 17-Aug-2021, KaysFIT Academy, the founding organization of OOTYULTRA handed over a cheque for Rs. 1,00,000 (including Rs. 24,000 contributions from KaysFIT Academy) to the District Collector Ms. Innocent Divya, IAS

#OOTYULTRA 2022: In its 5th edition of OOTYULTRA, sixty runners contributed an amount of Rs. 30,000 through Charity tickets and eleven runners contributing Rs. 4999 in addition.  For the first time KaysFIT Academy will add Rs. 30,000/- to match the Charity tickets contribution.  In total, Rs. 64,999/- will be set aside for contributions to Nilgiris District initiatives.  (2022 contributors list)
